I have moved around the country extensively for the past several years, and I was so grateful when I found Dr. Spath. I have had serious issues with my TMJ for most of my life, and Dr. Spath took the time to actually listen to the specifics about my pain and try various alternative routes to surgery in efforts to help alleviate my pain. And when I was shocked to find out that I had a cavity (when reluctant to believe it, he proved it by showing me a picture), he was extremely gentle and constantly checked in on my own level of discomfort and fear during the procedure. One bad dental visit can make you scared of going again, but Dr. Spath has worked diligently to prove to me that not all dentists are created equally. I came to see Dr. Spath about 6 month ago with debilitating pain in my jaw, chronic headaches, and very worn teeth of which I was very unhappy with the appearance. Compounding my problems was my fear of dentistry. Dr. Spath worked with me and step by step and completely eliminated all of my jaw pain and my headaches decreased while giving me the smile that I have always dreamed. I recommend Dr. Spath. He is very organized, confident, and explains exactly what he is going to do. He did a very thorough examination of my teeth, both with x-rays and observation. He told me the results of his findings, made recommendations and asked questions of my expectations. Dr. Spath replaced a front bridge, added a crown for cosmetic reasons, cleaned my teeth and made them whiter than they have ever been. He is very conscientious, caring and very professional. I am very pleased with the work he has completed for me.
